An afternoon of history and enchantment, where rice meets wine

An afternoon exploring the enchanting Principality of Lucedio and the timeless tradition of rice cultivation.
 
Join us for a guided tour to discover the charming abbey founded by Cistercian monks in the early 1400s. This unique opportunity will immerse you in the agricultural traditions and the most authentic heritage of Piedmont, in a place that feels suspended in time.
 

The story of rice, the "white gold" of the Vercelli region, intertwines with the charm of the vineyards surrounding the nearby private Castle of Gabiano.

Perched atop the rolling vineyard-covered hills of Monferrato, the Castle of Gabiano looks like something out of a fairytale. We will explore its stunning gardens and the renowned labyrinth before concluding the visit in the ancient wine cellars with a tasting of local wines.

The tour is part of the "Dimore Amiche del Piemonte" project by Fiavet Piemonte, in collaboration with ADSI – Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane.
